ADNOC Distribution Service Stations

ADNOC Distribution’s service stations are among the most visible pieces of infrastructure in the UAE — and their canopies are a branding opportunity as much as a weather shield. For the Ghabat Baynona, Motor World and Madinat Zayed stations, Al Hamra Industries delivered the signature twin-cone tensile canopies that crown the station buildings.

The twin cones are pure tensile architecture: two membrane peaks tensioned over a concealed steel ring-and-mast system, creating a sculptural roofscape that is instantly recognisable from the highway. The Ferrari PVC membrane provides a bright, clean surface that resists the dust, heat and UV of the forecourt environment and washes back to white with routine maintenance.

Complementing the external canopies, our scope included interior membrane skylight structures that bring diffused natural light into the station buildings — reducing daytime lighting loads while keeping the harsh sun out. It is a complete envelope approach that few shade contractors in the region can deliver in-house.
